Beecher fire destroys family home of South Chicago Heights nonprofit director

Fire crews aggressively attacked the fire, according to a news release from Beecher Fire Department, but were forced to spend “a great deal of time chasing the fire through the many concealed spaces of this balloon frame constructed home.”
