Carjacking reported in Niles unrelated to earlier robberies in the village and Morton Grove, police say

A carjacking and an attempted car theft are under investigation by Niles police, who say the incidents appear unrelated to other similar robberies that were reported in the village and neighboring Morton Grove earlier in the day.
